Dear KVR members,

I am searching for the freeware VST mixer CMX844 by subtek.
It is listed here in the plugin list, but unfortunately the link is not available yet. (the file is cmx844.dll)

Can anybody help me?

Or, does anybody kwows a good VST mixer plugin (especially for use in VSThost).

Thanks in advance,

Some alternatives are listed <here>

But since VSTHost only loads one plugin (at least I think) what's exactly the use?

A VST can have multiple outputs, and mixer is handy to balance level from each, instead of tweaking inside a samplers library etc.

VSTHost loads as many plugins as your computer can handle. Its smaller spinoff, SAVIHost, loads exactly one plugin.
