Brilliant plug...that green colour has got to be a nod to RE 201

have ohmboyz too (possibly the oldest plugin still installed here ... seems to survive every clearout) and i thought i was over impulse buying but i think come payday next week i might have to shell out for this ... with my existing customer discount itll cost 44 quid ... i reckon i can wear that ...CypherOne wrote:well, maybe I'm lucky because I have Ohmboyz, but I played with this for half an hour and I'm gonna pass...it does sound quite cool but I seem to have cured my VST addiction.

This is just an insane piece of gear! I can't believe the stuff I'm getting out of it. This is going to be extremely hard to resist for me, especially at the intro upgrade price.
I really have to hand it to the FabFolks. They just keep steadily turning out awesome software. Great updates, responsive to customer input, reasonable prices, price breaks for existing customers. I raise my glass to them - congratulations and thank you!
About the only thing I'd like is more mod stuff, say 2 more lfos and another envelope. Make it so!

jeeez....I REALLY didn't want to like this thing, but timeless is...wow....I really don't want to spend the money (shakes fists and paces in circles...) I'll probably get it (upgrade price takes some of the sting away...sheer quality takes away the rest)...but MAN...I didn't want to like this thing!
...but it sounds and BEHAVEs incredibly...easy after assignment is nearly worth the price of admission alone
took me all of 10mins to decide.
great job FabFilter

Slap that "Blood BM" preset into place and jam out! It's in the "Long" preset subsection, second one down. Funky.
I think guitarists are gonna like this one due to all the parameters to control with expression pedals. A couple of instances of it and some automation or direct control over it and you're in Frippertronixville on a three-day pass.

Do you also have Volcano, man? If so, what a deadly combo this and that will make.pHz wrote:have ohmboyz too (possibly the oldest plugin still installed here ... seems to survive every clearout) and i thought i was over impulse buying but i think come payday next week i might have to shell out for this ... with my existing customer discount itll cost 44 quid ... i reckon i can wear that ...CypherOne wrote:well, maybe I'm lucky because I have Ohmboyz, but I played with this for half an hour and I'm gonna pass...it does sound quite cool but I seem to have cured my VST addiction.

hmm, on second thoughts it seems that I may well have been talking cobblers (again)pHz wrote:have ohmboyz too (possibly the oldest plugin still installed here ... seems to survive every clearout) and i thought i was over impulse buying but i think come payday next week i might have to shell out for this ... with my existing customer discount itll cost 44 quid ... i reckon i can wear that ...CypherOne wrote:well, maybe I'm lucky because I have Ohmboyz, but I played with this for half an hour and I'm gonna pass...it does sound quite cool but I seem to have cured my VST addiction.

If someone wants to add to the stuff that came with their sequencer, FabFilter is always, and more so now, a great place to send them off to
Personally though, the only thing that's missing from my arsenal is a decent filterplugin, and Love Filter will def. cover that when it's being included in the next FlS update. But congrats on the plugs guys, you're def. one of the more interesting companies out there

Whoa. Three separate panning stages. Sounds like panoramic bliss. I like the sound of that.
The pricetag seems just a little steep though. But I haven't had the chance to try the demo yet, so I can't say for sure.

I have no idea from where that loop is (hope it's copyright free for that demonstration). It's just been lying around on my hard drive for ages.Liero wrote:Bmanic:
Nice loop (what library?), hard to imagine that just some presets can do something so working on a drumloop.
Yeah, FF Timeless is just insanely cool on, well, everything! You can create some extremely weird sounds with it and some awesomely funky delays. For instance, in the demo, check out my "The Matrix BM" preset and try to do that same sound with any other plugin, I dare you.
Cheers!

Since I'm not at home this week I can't try the demo...
Does Timeless really add something when you have Ohmboyz, Ronin, PSP608/84 and DubStation? Since it's not exactly cheap
and the license is not transferable, it'd be nice to read some comments on comparisons (in addition to 'how gorgeous it is').
