hey squids...not sure if you're aware, but Guitar Center just came out with a damn good deal on the Total Studio Bundle for $599... beergeek thought I'd ask you if there's any chance you may match it. I thought it about it, but it's quite a drop coming off a $999 price tag you have for it off the website.

anyway, as you read in the thread, I ended up calling Guitar Center and the fella said that sure enough, it's the full meal deal for $599. anyway....just a heads up as I'm thinking that I may not get a better chance to jump in on the IK stuff, although, you know I'm not a fan of dongles, I'll could convince myself if I could save $400.

here's the thread going on at the marketplace and one the 2nd page, I posted a link to the Buyer's Guide on the GC website to the Total Bundle deal.

I think that was probably a mistake in the Buyer's Guide. But, they'll honor it. If your local GC has one you might as well grab it for that price. If you like to buy from esoundz then of course we'll match it. As long as it is verifiable which it is.

Hey holymoly...if you do buy it from eSoundz, buy a little sumpin' else too...just to make us all feel good about it

After all, the $400 diff could buy a whole lotta Raw Style Paks...

Or buy it from GC and have them take a loss, that would all make us feel good too

In Squids' case, I don't think that's a bad thing. Truth is, he and his crew give great service and prices. I've actually bought stuff at Esoundz that were not the lowest price simply because I know that if there's any problem, they will make it right. Usually they ARE the lowest price though.

In this case, I understand what Beergeek is saying, and I feel bad that Squids is in a tough spot...he's actually paying for someone else's mistake. Now, he doesn't HAVE to do that--but it speaks volumes that he does. And so, rather than completely take advantage of the situation, holymoly could instead show his appreciation by leaving a little on the table.

hey squids...I have to say, that is very noble of you to do that. Although I have not confirmed it in person as the GC Buyer's Guide booklet could be wrong, but I did call and the GC Salesman physically checked the box and told me that he was indeed holding the Total Studio Bundle and the price was $599. With that said, though....if you're willing to match it, Squids, then of course I would rather purchase from you! I like the way you work around here and between you & me....you've been very patient with me on answering probably the many silly questions I had and me kicking dust because of the dongle-bit, so....I really appreciate that, squids.

Anyway...if you're dead serious, let me know what I need to do as if so = "we've got a deal, squids".

This is really not good for me, though, as I'll have another problem on my hands after this....with 3 massive harddrives - I'm running out of space already!!

well I thought the $599 deal for komplete was too good to be true too but that ended up to not be a mistake.

I get the same message if I search for Dimension Pro, so it sounds like a website technical issue, not necessarily a change of mind.

ok...called Guitar Center online just now as the website said to CALL, spoke to a rep online and they have it for $999. Called my local GC again and spoke to the same guy I spoke to yesterday and asked him to please make damn sure that's the right price, so he got the physical package out, read it to me, scanned it and sure enough $599 retail $1199, so I told him to HOLD IT - I'm on my way.

squids, buddy....hard to really verify this one as it seems it's a local shop deal and not associated with the website and the online rep basically said the same thing that the "Buyer's Guide" is really targeted to the B&M shops rather than the online shop. Anyway, can't pass this one up, guys. Will let you know whether or not it's the real deal or if the GC guy is an idiot.

squids - now that I have all this stuff, I'll surely be keeping a close eye on your site since you offer all the Expansion stuff. Just couldn't pass it up and while I was doubtful if it was correct, the GC guy was surely telling me the truth.

anyway....dropped over 1 grand today while I was there just for this package. I love my hobby, but damn it's costing me! I don't care...I love making music too much.
