Monster Guitar velocity not change-able?

Hi guys,

Im starting to use my Monster Guitar 2 (Kontakt 2 version) right now. Great sound and very properly Eq-ed.

Heh, but I'm having trouble adjusting the volume/velocity of the guitar fifths and fourths (I think the rest of the articulations have the same issue but have not tried it yet).

When I changed the velocity to 120 or to 10, the volume sound the same. I've installed the samples patched too, but is still the same. Is there a way to adjust the volume via MIDI editing?

If no, is automation the only way ?

Hello!

The velocity changes the samples but not the volume. You can use volume control to change it (CC 01) or automation.
A volume pedal connected to your master keyboard is great, if you don't have one you can map it to a knob/slider on any MIDI controller or draw the volume in Cubase (key editor).

Or, you can activate velocity in the programs for the volume in NI Kontakt.
