Never seen those specific performances before… goddamn, he had some smooth moves! :hihi:

I recall there was a clip on YouTube of a spoofed U2 song, now done about "Samuel L Jackson is my Bro" instead of Bono's father.
Anybody has a link? Can't find it anymore...

  I love how the guitar kid keeps reaching back to adjust his sound, like it's gonna help.

Watching this was kind of painful in a way. Not because it was a poor rendition, but because it makes it so totally clear what 'learned behavior' rock and roll is. Completely inauthentic and ironically, an accidental expression of the lyrics of the song.

Ripped from a BoingBoing post.

'Protein Synthesis' is the most joyous, psychedelic science film imaginable. Made me smile for 9 minutes straight.

There's a scientist guy lecturnig for the first three minutes. You should pay attention, because it explains what's happening for the next 9 minutes, and that part rocks!

This thing captured what was, for me, the feeling of the Sixties in a way that just about nothing else has.

Okay, so this reminded me of the physics teacher Julius Sumner Miller so I looked him up on youtube

I have a whole VCR of his wacky stuff, but he wasn't in a mock dungeon in any of that. And this one is actually relevant to music!

Or this one
