Hey, great soundscape bro! Nice atmospherics, like the brutal beat at halfway, and did I hear a teaser of slide guitar in there? That can be such a great element for these kinds of tracks - sometimes I wish I still had an electric.

ya my glass was empty so I slid it up and down the strings for a laugh before I filled it again. hah
last year I stuck to an overall theme for my cd
but this winter I'm free to explore any idea I wake up with, whether good, bad or in this case, a little ugly
as always, appreciate you coming by,

Hi Ed
This is very nice, much more atmosperic than your usual things.
Very enjoyable
Cheers

this IS a really nice piece. the blending of organic instruments with this kind of electronica is pretty crucial IMO. Good work.

Where did you get your glass break sample? I just ask cause I was sampling glass breaking for about an hour today. Cool song through and through.

As Dr. Derelict might say - "That-that-that-that shit's wild!" [/obsure trax reference]
If this were on a video game, it would likely be a game I would end up wasting hours upon hours of my life on.

Laguna, Jazzyspoon, Genetic and uvacom
appreciate you guys taking a run at this,
went all halloween on myself..hah
Genetic, it was part of a longer sample I had in Orion drumrack which I sliced and treated to get that bit, (I didn't make the original)probably never be able to use it again now
how did your glass breaking turn out
another good one is a 4ft flourecent tube, they make a good pop,
uvacom, dr. derelict meets dr. dementia for consultation, and later...drinks

Hey Ed, didnt have the chance for a proper listen so I'll come back later. Dug what I heard so far and the angst/war references seemed to work.
Take care ...
of your glasses too

I think the samples turned out excellent. I started a thread in the sample/sampling forum that has a link to a zip file with some of the smashing glass samples in it.

One of your strongest pieces Ed. Those samples work great, the melody line fits perfectly and
those breaks.

I can definitely seeing this chasing Noriega out of a Vatican embassy.
I think the clean spotless synth sounds are a little high in the mix relative to the background insanity but needless to say this is a great addition to my wavephonic repository.

actually I'm thinking of getting rid of the samples and revisiting the backtrack
nice to have repository, better than that other thing
thanks
