off topic, but it's ok for koolkeys to put a signature strip in post that link to a torrent site with audio warez on?

First thing I saw when clicking it was:

I own the Sample Torrents site, and it is still as strict on legal content as always.

It's already been taken care of. We have NO tolerance for that on our site, and have several moderators that keep track of it. Unfortunately, things like that will be uploaded from time to time, that's a given. It happens when you have a public site. But they are stopped immediately if there is not explicit permission to upload. Every single torrent on the site at this moment has specific, WRITTEN permission to be shared. And we have a license system in place to stop some of it.

I've been busy with projects the past month or so. But soon there will be some new cool exclusive stuff at ST, for all those interested.

I've honestly never tried Samplitude (though speaking with you via KVR and knowing your work and it's quality I've been tempted) which I think is the one you use, and I am sure it's great.

No, Logic all the way for me.
And, even if I *do* have massive problems in understanding how certain things still haven't been adressed since ages, even if I *do* love trying out new things, even if I *do* have licenses for Cubase SX, Energy XT and Samplitude SE, I always keep going back to Logic (for a number of known and a same number of unknown reasons). It just feels like being home. Even so much that I had to buy a Macbook.
To me, regardless of doing it as a hobbyist or professional (I'm not a professional recording engineer by any means, btw., I just happen to do whatever sorts of music related things to make my living), this "home" feeling is what it's all about. Logic to me just feels as comfortable as my guitars - even if there might be quite better sequencers from a technical point of view.
But, really, it's the same as with guitars. A standard strat theoretically is a shit guitar. Noisy pickups, lousy tuning pegs and a tremolo that simply sucks. Yet, once you've found a certain strat (and I'm not even talking about vintage or custom shop models), chances are that you just fall in love with it.
And well, yes, Logic to me feels like an instrument, rather than being just a "tool". No other sequencer has ever been able to deliver that (and mind you, I started on Cubase 1.0 on the Atari, used it for a long time...). But of course, you gotta know a sequencer quite well to achieve such a feel.
