Does anybody have a problem with MASB compressor using 100% CPU when opened and while tweaking its controls, too? I'm using eXT. When it's window is closed, it uses CPU like any other compressor. Excellent compressor btw. Love the sidechain and split, great! :D

Thank you,

Cheers!

----No probs with MASB here, but then I am using in FL Studio.

Hey DuX, really glad you like the sounds!! Is the high cpu only when controls are tweaked? How about GUI open but no interaction? Also, is this affecting the audio?

The spline curve takes quite a lot of horsepower to calculate but shouldn't interfere with the audio, it's just designed not to be automated..

Any more info on whats causing it will help me track the problem down..

100% CPU usage while tweaking the controls isn't anything new, and it's bearable, many plugins exhibit that behaviour. However, in case of MASB, it uses 100% CPU just by it's GUI being open. I'm not sure why... I tried it only in EnergyXT and Reaper. So I repeat - it only needs to be open, nothing tweaked yet. When I close the GUI, CPU comes down to normal %. It's probably got something to do with the GUI consuming the CPU for some reason.

It's a pitty because it's possibilities and sound are really cool and somewhat special. Also, it looks very nice, too :D.

I'm 100% sure it's got something to do with the GUI updates taking over the CPU for some reason, but can't tell you what. Vu meters? Compression meter?

btw. I can't believe this is happening only on my comp? AMD CPU, Windows 2k... could be related to something else other then the VST host and your plugin? I've never seen a problem like this before.

Cheers!
