anna use cpu like hell ( ok i am just on a 3GHZ pentium 4 with 1giga of ram ) it ends 2nd , it has still clikcs when you change the presets (and i am talking of the lastest release (1novemeber 2006))
it was a development challenge there is nothing revolutionary in this synth an old synth like crystal is far more superior to this synth !
the same goes for triple cheese wich is simply useless !i am wondering who have voted only 680people ? is it a joke ? i have donated to seee the triumph of the mediocrity ?
the fact is that no synths deserved to win in this contest , the only inovations came from the effects
at least mdsp finished third
but anna is just cpu killer synths that still clicks that bring nothing new to the synth scene , and triple cheese is just the new one ping only !!!!

Although I do agree with most of this, keep in mind that buddy who made Anna also designed Synthmaker. Sure it's a run of the mill and still beta quality synth but hey, buddy made a program that renders to VST!!!!!
Hopefully we see as many great entries next year. I'm looking forward to seeing the full rundown of the results.

Now now everybody.... No hard feelings. Personally, I voted for, in the following order:

1. Collide & Play (Luigi)
2. Lunchbox Battles (Bram....right?)
3. Drum Mic Positioner (Soundspectral)
4. Pushtec (Leftover Lasagne)
5. Mini-Vyn

But, I'm very happy for the cash prize winners, and there will be plenty of other winners in this as well...hopefully we'll get to see just how far off from the top spots our own favorites were...but, point being, everyone did a fantastic job...and if we'd built up $31,000.00, I'd vote that everyone got a thousand bux, as everything was worth it. This was a unique opportunity for everyone to show their skills, and hopefully, if any of the dev's here decide to stay in business, they'll have a wealth of fans to keep them going. No more bitching about who won and who didn't.

Now, if only we could get the very latest updates organized into 1 place with download links...or has that happened already?

no one said anything about freeware devs only, only that the plug in the comp is a freebie.
he got more votes, he won, its his cash.
what he does with it is his own business but now i kinda hope he spends it on drugs hookers n beer and sends you a load of pics of him havin a great time just to piss you off even more...
