So various people have pointed out that the overall winners from this whole shebang have been us the music software using public.
And there are at least a couple of things in the bottom ten that would have been in my top ten without a question - S.A.N.E FM, my number one pick[1], Zombie Fungus, my number four, Mini-Vyn which basically sounded really good, Video VST which is pretty bloody unprecedented for a free VST, and Rezon8 and Superubbish which have both seen some fair appreciation around here.
So yeah, my basic point is that pretty much all of the entries - even those that didn't see much support in the actual voting - have had some heavy cult support, and they've all added something to the free VST scene. So it'd be nice to see a few appreciation threads for the plugs from the bottom ten (and the rest, in fact) to let the devs know that not everyone's forsaken them...
And I hope that this isn't taken as patronising the devs that didn't do well so much as recognising that all the entries (afaik) connected with someone.
[1] which was fourth from bottom. No, but really - are you people actually all retarded?

Hi,
I'm glad some people really liked Rezon8, that's good enough for me
When i mailed the plugin to Tuz i wasn't sure ppl would like it or not, and if i made it easy enough to use.
So, that i even got votes and good comments makes my day!
When i joined this contest i didn't really know what to make and did not want to build a synth, as i wasn't confident enough to bring something new to the table.
I had build the basic structure of Rezon8 before the contest as i got interested in Resonator effects, and after checking the VST list here on KVR found that there were almost none. And the ones posted were not complex enough imo, ppl could not change a lot of parameters in the plugin.
So, i decided to use my starter project as my entry for the contest.
I'm very happy with the end result, as the plugin gives ppl a lot of options to use in their musicprojects.
I want to thank the people that voted on my plugin, and hope they use it a lot
Some updates are on the way, and will add a page on my site for this plugin..so ppl can keep downloading it and grab updates.
Will let ppl know when it's done.
Cya,
Rob.
