are there any other tuner audio plugins available that are like GTUNE (gives a reading in Hz) but to more than 1 decimal place, and possibly giving a more consistant/accurate reading? GTUNE is very good but i find myself in a situation where a bit more accuracy would be very helpful

If it's for guitar, it doesn't get more accurate than that. The natural fluctuations in harmonics will always have your needle 'wobbling' a bit. GTune is far more accurate than most people need for guitar.

For other purposes, dunno.

If it's for guitar: mute all the strings except the one you want to tune, and play the 12th fret natural harmonic, cos this note is easier to read out then the open string.

At least, this is how I do it on my 'Les Mister Mouse' guitar...

like GTUNE, but more accurate
