Thanks for the answer.

What's Big Tick's Rhino when it's at home then?

Any good? Used it at all?

What's great about it?

Sorry with all these question. I's learning at an accelerated rate for my project.

Any help by guru's would be amazing.

Top right of the screen, where it says "Quick Instrument Links", select Rhino from the list and read the reviews.

I only know of one rainbow synth... didn't know there was another.

To slightly go off the mark. I love the sound of the first lead synth in Native Instrument Pro 53. Lead 70's..etc.

Is there another program in direct comp that gives better dynamic controll? Just can't get the delay on the release right on Pro 53.

Is there another program out there that features that first sound?

Also....is it normal not to be able to play chords with that lead sound..ya know that cut off once you've pressed a key in the left hand?

Playing runs in the right hand & then once I add my left it just cuts off to that.
Is it poss to change that while keeping the same sound?

I think Rainbow was Big Tick's flagship synth before it was "replaced?" by Rhino. I'm not really familiar with either of these synths though, so don't take my word for it.

Thanks again for your answers. It's a real help as I'm in the middle of nowhere. Mag's are great for reading & learing but the internet is king on an instant answer/write a letter & wait a month.lol

Anyone have an answer for the above quote though?

No there's not. You should have as much control over it as you'd ever need. Learn your synth. You paid a lot of money for it.

Increase the number of "Voices" to something greater than "01", and turn off "Unison".

Just asking what else has that other sound that's all. I'm very new to all this so please do not be presumptuous. Just coz a paid the money for it doesn't mean I'm dept in synth lang as yet.

What do you need rainbow synth for ?
As beginner, i'd rather go with some freeware as addition to the NI synth you got; for example oatmeal, synth1, cygnus, crystal, augur, nubi, voyager etc. should give you enough additional possibilities, and sound as good.
