Hello remixers & sound-manglers!

Contest #3 has been going on SampleRemix.com for a couple of months now and I think it's about time to check out what we've all been up to!

I've knocked up a quick track with the samples myself (no, it does'nt count as an entry) and yes, Prizm Prime is my alter-ego that i make solo music under.

OK, OK..I'm freelancing right now, on top of doing music full-time, plus trying to mix my album...but I will fit this in.

i understand this is your tune? Haven't had a chance to listen yet. And this contest is about using the O.G. samples only, huh? Cool, can't wait.

Mine is almost finished... I only need to do the mixing of the remix, add some delays and stuff... a bit of mastering... I should be finished before the deadline. And so far I only used one VSTi that loads the samples and loops

this contest isn't based on the samples for an actual existing track. instead, they are a hand-picked collection of samples from the huge electronisounds.com sample library.

and yes, in this contest you are required to use the electronisounds samples and no other audio source(s). Of course you can use fx, etc - and more detailed instructions/rules are on the sampleremix website.

I have an entry nearly ready. Its a RIGHT tarnce fest, lol. But Im happy enough with it as I think Iv done well with the sounds provided. Incidentally, you are welcome to all the derivative drum samples if you like.

we still do not have enough entries to finish this contest.
