Just posted some more stuff, here you go:

Distorted synth kit 2 (151k) - another synthetic drum kit

sfx pack 1 (2.76MB) - various sound fx

dog fx pack 1 (6.77MB) - sounds made from processed recordings of dogs

The last one's my personal favorite, and as always no animals were harmed during the making of this recording. I did, however, almost get a bloody nose when my dog head-butted me in his excitement.

Enjoy!

Hehe, that bloody nose thing happened to me five years ago. We had a huge Russian Wolfhound named Sputnik who consistently cried whenever it stubbed its toe (clumsy dog) or got stung by a bee. One day I was playing with him and his long snout whacked my nose. It hurt and the blood flowed.

Thanks for the samples. :)

Ouch. This was a similar situation- I got him riled up while my mother was visiting with her dog (it's the only time he really barks, unless he's outside playing guard dog). Got a little too close to the action, got one in the nose.

btw, his name's Bruno & he's a black lab/german shephard/rottweiler mix.

Oh yeah, thanks for the free samples, always welcome in my samples folder for my mangling pleasure!!!

my sg_ folders are becoming more numerous, I have a run of them now when scrolling down my 'waves' folder ....
The dog sounds are totally out there and atmospheric. They hardly sound like barking anymore except for the attack phase of some of them :D

*rubs hands together* all part of my evil plan...

There's more on the way- there would be more already, but life distracted me with other things for awhile.

Thanks, that's what I was going for. :) If anyone's curious, much of the mangling on those was done with SpectralMonkeyage (a favorite of mine), dover's S-Kamp, and D-Dev's ZapFilter- not a comprehensive list, but I've been using those 3 a lot on these particular sounds. Recording & editing was done in Sound Forge, but most of the processing was done in energyXT (of which I'm quite fond). There will be more of these, btw- progress just slows down during the work-week. :?

Again, thanks for the replies, glad people are enjoying these.
