I'm curious whether or not making pitch changes in the keyboard editor in the step sequencer will shift/change the pitch of the sample using the pitchshifting/timestretching, or if it just resamples it.

The sampler channel resamples, the granulizer, well, granulizes. Neither can bend/pitch with the non-realtime stretching.
