There's no offense wikter, quite to the contrary.
Something i like in Synth1 is the waveform i get when using sync on osc2_with_the_noise_waveform, i was expecting just "noise" but instead i have a "FMish" kind of noise really interesting.

All this in the Filter area - try turning the Decay (D) knob to the right a bit and notice how the punch get's longer - is this what you're looking for? How about turning the Amount knob to the left (which often requires compensating the loss of filter with an adjustment of the Frq knob to the right a little) - is this helping? Or you can rasie the Sustain knob (S) to the right, thereby reducing the fall after the initial attack. Just experiemnet with these many functions in various combinations and see what happens.

OR, is the percussion comming from the Amp section - same knob changes as listed above.

Are you using a saw LFO mod? How about a little noise through the Ring Mod? M. Env effect? Arpeggiator gate? As you can see there are so many ways to create a percussive attack that it's nearly impossible to answer your question without hearing and analyzing the patch/sound! Maybe some of these suggestions will help you find the sound you want. And as always - EXPERIMENT! Good luck!
Thanks! That did it....
Funny thing...since my DAW is off-line, when I got back to it, I saw I was actually NOT working w Synth1, but with....Oatmeal.

But there were enough similarities between the two, that your suggestions still solved the problem!

tag; nolwenn's banks seem interesting(i really couldn't get a sound out of synth 1 that i really liked when i first used it, so i'd love to revisit it with someone else's presets)

Just checked out Nolwenn's presets and the are VERY nice! Great creative and "musical" use of the effects sections. That "Rogue Bass" patch really stopped me in my tracks. A lot of preset banks lately seem to just be bland sounds awash in delay to make them interesting. Either that, or most of the sounds are really cheezy or unusable. What a refreshingly good and useful bank for a change! Thanks Nolwenn.

I just got the same reply, even though I had DLed from this site a few days ago. Maybe Nolwenn can chime in with the answer.
