Virsyn Cantor 2 - Sounddemo 1 (BicycleForTwo.mp3)
I receaved an email from virsyn about cantor 2 and on the page was a funny sounddemo ...i must say : if u ask me i buy maybe cantor 4 or 5 because the actual voice is in my ears not good enough,-) but otherwise its surely strange and difficult to create something like cantor.

WFMU out of new jersey (reminded of it via the thread started b..i heard the station when in NYC many moons ago, clearly recall listening to Happy Flowers scream 'i wanna watch cartoons' repeatedly over a wall of feedback while my gf at the times' padre drove me from my first time in Manhattan.. got reminded by the tip from shamman in racmiels thread: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/posting.p ... &p=2205972

but now they are playing some Dolls...

I see GW and Con-Dom as being the successors to that whole anarcho-punk thing (Crass, Flux, etc), though it's true that there's certainly a lack of evolution in the subject matter. Even with the reactionary overtones, I'll probably always have a soft spot for this sort of approach - very true to the aesthetic and sound (crappy sound quality included) of the second wave industrial/power electronics groups back in the early 80's. Still not a spot on the early Whitehouse or Ramleh recordings, I'll grant you, which were done with (especially in the former case) a greater degree of finesse.RTaylor wrote:Great stuff, lousy concept.dystonia_ek wrote:The Grey Wolves 'The Age of Dissent'
