Well it should be better in terms of the fact that it is the same instrument completely reworked by the Original Coder. Improvements and additions to a few parts of the engine are the first of these. Also CPU count is extremely Low even with all the FX on. I also believe the Envelopes were improved since Eve One. Also the new browser will greatly improve ease of use, let alone all your Wusik Soundsets as well as DashSnds, show up in the Browser automatically for use in ManyOne. The addition of the Flanger and the crossover knob in the Modulation section make for mixing the sounds in a mix much smoother. Seriously ....wait until you try it on sounds that use the mod fx.

Our version of ManyOne even includes the same original SoundSets. But Eve One never did come with presets i don't believe. As mentioned above we have a nice batch that will be available for those that want ready to use professionally crafted sounds. ManyOne also has the new FX Wizard that Eve One never had. This makes for smoother GUI use as well.

Anyways ... Thanks for the patience, I'm sure you'll appreciate where it has evolved .... Granted it is not a massive change, but rather a realistic, proper approach, for the instrument at hand.

Not to overstate the obvious, but Liqih is one of the great programmers/conceptualizers. This ought to be pretty good.

Beautiful!!! The browser was a great idea! Is there a way to hid it? (Just curious, don't take the time to add it if there isn't. :P Wait til version 1.1 ;) ).

Peace 8)

Luigi has provided the code for a browser, not me. As far as I know, there's no way to hide it, apart from disabling it in the skin.xml but then you wouldn't be able to choose a instrument anymore.

Paul, what's going to happen to owners of EVE ONE? Is there going to be a crossgrade path?

Hi tonalaxis

Here is what we are considering for Eve One Registered owners, but note that this still may change, but i thought i would give you all an idea:

There will be a FREE Engine only Update for you guys. This means you will get the new ManyOne DLL for no charge.
This Free update will not include the new Preset Banks we have created, or the Eve One Soundsets, that we have converted to WusikSnd Format. The new Presets rely on these converted WusikSnds to be able to load them, and these presets will not load with the original DashSnds that came with Eve One.
It also does not include access to the ManyTone FreeZone.

You guys will also still have to have your Old Eve One Sounds installed (Note: we do not provide these for you. You will need your Old Eve One to get these sounds.) And remember the New banks will not be included nor will they load with the Original soundsets you guys have. Also you guys will only get the Original Eve One Skin redone for ManyOne. The New Skins (Made by Berend and Branis) will only be in the Full ManyTone Version.
So if you want the Presets and New GUI's and accesss to the FreeZone, read below.

There will also a few options for those of you that want to upgrade to the Full ManyOne, which includes the new preset bank and access to all the new Sounds contained in the ManyTone Freezone and the new ManyTone ManyOne GUIs.

Option 1 - You can purchase the Full upgrade for $19.95. This includes the presets and the converted Soundsets and accesss to the FreeZone and any future sounds that we put in the FreeZone, and the 2 new GUIs.

Option 2 - If you already are a ManyTone customer and already have access to our FreeZone, You can purchase the Presets and the Converted Soundsets and the new GUI's for $9.95

Option 3 - FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY - Any Existing Eve One Customer can Purchase any of our ManyTone products with a value of at least $50.00 and you will receive this above Full upgrade for Free. So, spend at least $50.00 with us on either Soundsets or our VSTi, and the ManyOne full version is yours Free. (Including access to the FreeZone) This offer will only be available for a short time and is only available to New Purchases. (Meaning if you purchased Items in the past from us, you still would need to buy $50.00 worth of product during this promotion period to get the Upgrade free). We will announce more details soon.

Again ....specifics on this may change before release but this will give you guys an idea of what is happening.

Cheers
Paul
