Hi! I'm looking for a specific sample library, I don't know the correct name but it goes something has Ghost Tracks or "something else" Tracks. It's main use is in glitch/electronica music, working like an ambient sound, aiming to blend all the other instruments together.
I really don't know much more about this, hope you can help me!
Thanks in advance

yeah, aside from 'Ghost In the Machine' as Torhan mentioned, the only sample cd I know of is M-Audio's 'Spooky Ghost' disc, though that is comprised of experimental guitar loops and phrases. I don't know of any others, and I usually do frequent searches for that kind of stuff, as I've done soundtrack work for a Halloween special once, and I write alot of ghostly-themed personal tracks.....

I think I mislead you when I mentioned the name Ghosts, i wasnt referring to ghosts as in haloween, but more like an invisible element you would add to a track, like the frosting on a cake. I remember the Cd's slogan was something like "add the extra touch to your tracks".

Could it be Groove Shadows from Überschall?

That's exactly it, Yoss. I wonder if you or anyone else could recommend some other sample cd's based on the same genre as Groove Shadows.

Sorry about the misinterpretation....Hardsoundz had a cd called "Ghost Loops" which is quite like Groove Shadows, although I'm not sure what is up with that company, as their download section appears to be missing and they won't respond to emails. Anyhow, there are several other discs that could work quite well as a 'flavor track' for background stuff...such as the loops on Spectrasonic's 'Distorted Reality' discs, 'Unhinged' and 'Asylum' from Zero G, or a number of Big Fish Audio discs, such as the loop sections of 'Things That Go Bump In The Night.' Add a filter or some lo-fi effects to them and they could groove along in a track's background quite nicely.....
