no matter how good it is I am forcing myself to wait till komplete 5. I have no desire to pay full price for it when it will most likely be included in komplete 5. Granted that will be a while but still.Earprotector wrote:First i updated last week the FM7 to FM8 ...and it is great.
But now after playing a little with the massive demo i must say the massive is maybe my new star i will dream about, i must collect some money and get this great piece of software.

I was thinking the same thing but on the other hand I haven't really got anything else I'd like to spend my token on - especially since they've rigged it so I can't spend it on more than one product (which eliminates buying several soundline products) and have to spend it before the end of December.ATS wrote:no matter how good it is I am forcing myself to wait till komplete 5. ...Massive surely is a very sophisticated synth, but as a soon-to-be-upgrading-to-Komplete 4-owner there will be a lot stuff, which will make you ask if you'd need that synth, too. also a CPU load of 40% with just a single note isn't the biggest selling point (but that damn ASIO4all driver surely takes a good piece of my CPU). but the point that leaves me somewhat unimpressed the most is the fact that this is a Mike Daliot synth. I was pretty sure when I heard the first demos, now I'm 100% sure. He's probably my all-time favourite sound-designer in the VST-world, but having all his Reaktor synths like Carbon, Carbon 2, Kaleidon, Photone and Titan makes me wonder, if I'd still need this one (and somehow it doesn't let look people, who claimed that this is a Reaktor synth, that foolish anymore - although I know that it is hard-coded and Reaktor is only used as some sort of developer tool in an early stage of developement!). And, like others said before, why buy now, if you already have Komplete and it will surely be included in Komplete 5 or 6? But back to FM8

already glitched it. still souns awsome!
notr jsut read the demo breif thing.
these things are awsome! 20 mins. no little noisey crap
just one thing to say. in fm8 the 'fx', can they be altered realtime, or do you have to select which effect you want first/last via the menu? i want talkbox at the end/beggining of everything, ever. so do i have to replant the fx over?
note the awsomeness of this awsome awsome yes

I was going to buy this but waited, just downloading the demo now, I believe the synth closes after 30 mins by the way. I also take that this runs in standalone mode only or do you get the vst?

That isn't a bug it is the demo limitation. Which btw is very generous. You can quite simply just close it and start it again for another 30 minutes.DJ Juergen wrote:why they are always release with bugs like this?Johnny Cherry wrote:I was going to buy this but waited, just downloading the demo now, I believe the synth closes after 30 mins by the way.

In FM8 you can't reorder the effects- they'll always be in the order that they appear in the list.stilaktive wrote: just one thing to say. in fm8 the 'fx', can they be altered realtime, or do you have to select which effect you want first/last via the menu? i want talkbox at the end/beggining of everything, ever. so do i have to replant the fx over?

How is the internal ordering of FM8's effects a 'bug'? You could make a feature request to change it - but it's not a bug by any stretch of the word.DJ Juergen wrote:why are always these sorts of bugs with NI product???ew wrote:In FM8 you can't reorder the effects- they'll always be in the order that they appear in the list.

no, but i record in 4 time slomotion and lower pitch with all traks 4 octave. then when i render trak out, i resample up to make it higher frequency resolution. so it can take more than 30 minutes sometime to render. all pros record like this. i guess this vsti is not made for pros._oswald wrote:You recording a 30 minute tarnce epic?
