I'm looking for a soundfont that has staccato "la", "da", "do", etc. sounds. Sing the hook from the Police song "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da" and you'll know what I'm looking for. The Julie's Scats Collection is close but I think the phrases are too long. Any thoughts? I've searched several soundfont sites but no joy.

i cant seem to get to that julie scats page - but if that sounds close but just too long - try using a gate on the channel to give it a shorter, quicker release.

matthewjumps' tip is a good one but note that I have also cut most of the phrases into shorter sounds. Some examples can be found in the downloadable demo.

Alternatively, have you tried our brand new Julie Resynth soundfont?

Note that the samples are resynthesized as the name suggests. Almost all the samples are quite short and there's a selection of different sounds. I precisely designed it to offer staccato sounds.
