Scroll wheel works in ProTools. Overall it's operating much better on my HD rig. I can only assume it will do the same on my LE rig at home. This couldn't have come at a better time. ST2 crashed PT7 3 times yesterday. Thanks for helping to keep it a free update Squids!

If ST2.2 can read MP1.1-files, does that also mean that CSR is a part of the ST2.2-effects???

I immediately noticed how quickly ST came up... they weren't lying about the improved load times.
Looking forward to the dongleless Miroslav!

Squids, I'm honored and maybe at sometime in the future I'll have the time to do it. Right now, lotsa changes in the day job...a shift in management and I'm still not sure how it all shakes out. Unfortunately, it leaves me with little time to make music much less moderate. What do they say? Ah yes, "this too shall pass"Squids wrote:I think anyone who has been helpful over the years in this forum is a good candidate so maybe Beergeek, Mr. Tunes if he is still around... but if you're up to the task and you think you know your stuff then let me know!

No probs. Although you'd be trusted as a moderator even if you barely had time so if you want I will put you on at some point. Anyone who is helpful to others, keeps it friendly etc. is ideal for what I have in mind. We'll see. I'd like it to be as cool as it is here but with the added organization and benefit of having different places for different types of discussion on IK products specifically (like an AT forum, ST forum and maybe a place to just talk about music, maybe a place to report bugs, user feedback in general or material for FAQs to be put together regularly and just get improve the experience of being a user of those products. We'll still keep this forum here for SR of course but I will split my time and help out on the IK forum when/if it goes up (so far looking good!).

I'm another of those who has no time to breathe, but I'd be as helpful as I could be. I actually run a tech support company as my own business serving small to mid-size companies, so software tech moderation is not outside of my realm of things.

Great Blades! The gig doesn't pay although if people are good moderators they can get some free software out of the deal for sure.blades wrote:I'm another of those who has no time to breathe, but I'd be as helpful as I could be. Hi Dave! Thanks! I was so bummed that the release schedule showed JANUARY for ST2, so this was a WONDERFUL surprise! Let's hope the other product updates come out sooner than announced (like SonicSynth!!) However, one small problem is that it doesn't appear to be working on my MacBook Pro with Cubase 4.01. Several other people are posting this as well on the Cubase forums. It simply doesn't show up, and I've tried all the suggestions to remove the "Blacklist" xml, etc. Knowing the way Steinberg works with developers, I suspect you don't have a copy yet, but do you have any ideas? I HAVE sent a message to IK a few days ago, but no answer yet.
But the changes in the standalone are indeeed nice...
Again, thank for going to bat for us (again!!)!

I had the same problem when trying to unzip this with WindowsXP own unzip function. I downloaded a trial of WinZip to see if it would make a difference... and fortunately, it worked fine. I hope this echoes your experience and this solution will be as easy for you. Good luck.dramsenik wrote:Same issue here...Sequent wrote:Hmm, I haven't been able to get it to upgrade. Forgot to mention, that I didn't pay all that much for it either cuz I bought it on eSoundz!
Fanboi? maybe, but I've got a LOT of very cool software and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. eSoundz is the Price Club/Costco/Sam's Club of music software except membership is free, you can give your friends discounts when you buy and you actually get discounts based upon your total purchases instead of how much you paid for a membership.
Who wouldn't be a fanboi?
