when do you need them? I could make some for you, I'd just have to call up my buddy and have him bring over a couple of his guitars.

2 acoustic guitar IRs come with perfectspace bundled with sonar...

Interesting.

My band is looking at doing a live DVD. The acoustic guitar is plugged in.

Wonder if these IRs would make the sound a little more acoustic-guitar-like.

I tried them on some acoustic bass samples that were through a pickup, and they did the trick, took a bit of fiddling to find the real sweet spot on the wet/dry

Actually, they're for a class I teach at a music college. Need to show the students what can be done with a convolution reverb - apart from the usual reverb effects.

I will also try them out on one of my tracks in the near future (when I can get some studio time). When I do I'll post a track somewhere and let you know.

What about "Bodylizer" ?

...does this dedicated filtrerset become definitely obsolete with the arrival of impulse responses ?

wow, thats much more interesting then I was expecting

It can be challenging however, getting the proper string recording/sound to make a convolved body sound right, but hope all goes well. You should go here and show them just whats possible. The violin was sampled as strings only, no body, then the body is added with convolution.
