Hopefully I'll have time to sample my metal-shelled dumbek before too long. The lack of humidity here has left the head sounding really good right now.

Hadn't really thought about it. Do you think there's a market for exotic loops? I could be generalizing, but except for Storm Drum, I can't think of a major product that caters to this type of thing. I know there are some tabla discs out there. Food for thought.

----Well, I don't know what the market is, but if you're making some loops for demos, why not sell the loops too is all I'm saying.

Bump. I'd love to sample a Pakistani Frame Drum, but I don't have one at the moment. I think I'll probably be buying this set next week.

I just bought the frame drum and bohdran sets, and they're awesome. At that 1.49 a pop, this is definitely a steal.

Judging by the demo of the dumbek, I'm sure I'll be unable to resist buying that set if it's made available...
