I was wondering if there was any way to EQ the individual tracks on a plug-in. What I mean is, suppose I have one instance of Stylus RMX. on it I have 3 tracks, one of snare, one of kick, and one of hats. What I would like to do is EQ those tracks seperately without having to instantiate 2 more instances of Stylus. Is this possible?

You should be able to do this within stylus. If the instruments are within one part you can use edit groups and the filters or if they are all seperate parts you should be able to use insert fx, can't you?
(Other than that you can run as many eq plug ins as your receptor can handle.)

yes, but stylus was just my example.. what about plug-ins that don't have an EQ within them? can i use just ONE eq plug-in for all of the tracks within the instrument plug-in?

Each channel as two inserts for EQ and other FX. They will affect the intire channel.

Doesn't each channel on the mixer have three inserts, plus theres the output bus and two sends?

OK.. I guess I didn't explain myself well enough. I'm wanting to EQ each sound, i.e., the kick, the snare and the hats individually, not in the same channel. The best part is, I came up with the answer! For multi-timbral instruments (such as Kontact, Stylus, or even DR-005!) the thing to do is assign the tracks of the plug-in to seperate outs. Then, in the source assign page of the Receptor, you choose the plug-in under the "Plug-in Audio Feed" as your source for the other channels. Assign EQ's to each of the channels and tweak them individually. I love this machine!
