We are planning to release a couple of full drumkit samplesets.
You can download the first one (a rock kit) from our site www.kara-moon.com , on the sampleset page.

This sets are full stereo samples, all named correctly and trimmed and normalized.
Of course they are free to use in your music.

We would like to ask the community here to pack this in different popular formats, like SF2, KOntakt, Vsampler, ... and recontribute those to our site.
All your work will be made available for free on our site with credits for the
work you have done.

Thanks

PS : To make it easy here is the direct link to the samplepage : http://www.kara-moon.com/index.php?scre ... nt=cntk900

Hi Kara, thanx for this. I'm not making any promises but I'll try to make an SFZ and/or RMIV kit out of those samples 8)

Hi Kara,

I will make a DK+ version for starters.

Great zvon !
If we have enough collaborators , we will publish a whole collection of drumkits !
All for free, the perfect drum resources for beginners.

I took a look or better a listen and I have a question. As I see they 're not multi-velocity samples and they're 46 in total. So you just want them mapped to the indicated midi note , for example rock2_7_g3.wav goes to G3 etc.? Or am I missing something here.

Hi

I have it converted and ready for WusikStation or ManyStation.
Just waiting to hear from you what to do with. I can upload for you download if you want Kara.

EDIT: I converted the files to Mono instead of Stereo first as it allows easier use in WusikEngine (And depending on the Mix and other factors, it is sometimes better to use a Mono set). I could do a Stereo WusikEngine version with individual left and Right Mics also, but not right away as it will involve splitting your Stereo files first.

BAHHH ...i have to redo the Mono version also as i screwed up something in the mapping. Too much on the go here.

Great guys !!
How do you prefere to send those back to me ?
E-mail ? Upload to ftp directory ? I can download ?
If it is less then 4 MB you can allso directly upload in our forum www.kara-moon.com/forum , you don't have to signup if you don't want, you can put it in public samples.
let me know what you prefere...

Do you want mute-groups to be programmed as well? I planned to do that for the hihats, but A#1 seems to be a tambourine and not the open hihat? or is that just my ears?

Here's Kontakt. I included an empty Samples directory (so the path is specified), but not the samples, so they can be changed independently.
