Hi Tick,

I wonder why all presets from ya side have such a loudness, they are all clipping when you use the default Cubase mixer settings. When I look in your presets I see that Volume is set to maximum on every OSC.

I have to reduce Volume of the OSC´s on every preset.

What was the thought of this :o ?

btw: I will make my presets normal, it is totally ok if the volume of the OSC´s are about 30% -> that means you have the Volume of a standart, for example z3ta+ or Junox2 VSTi.

Hi,

Here is a repost of the easy workaround, thanks to a hidden default gain setting:

Download this file : http://www.kvr-vst.com/~bigtick/rhinogain.reg and run it to divide the default Rhino output by 4. You can also edit it manually for other values.

You may have to rename the file to rhinogain.reg after downloading. For some reason it downloaded as rhinogain.mp3 for me.

Hope this helps,
'Tick

Hehehe, yeah, with a name like that, what would you expect :-)
Just make sure you download the effect-only version too (using your site code), it's quite interesting to apply this effect to other sources (like Rhino)

Try 'Save As' instead. IE6 on my machine thinks it's a quicktime file.

Think if you applied the name Rhino to your girl, would she like it? Would she take it to mean she needs to drop a few kilos or perhaps that she is thick skinned, or even horny? :D

AngelinaFX is the best guitar processing VST I have right now. If I want spacy sounds I use it. The synth is damn cool too.

As a matter of fact, I like rhinos. I think they're beautiful animals.

Hmm. About 2 weeks, released with Rhino 1.07. They use a few new features introduced with this version.

Will it ever be possible to load your own wav files into Rhino?

IDavid,
Importing wav's is not yet possible, but... see this "import" button on the new additive editor below ? It can be used to extract additive settings from a wav file.
The new additive generator now uses 64 harmonics, btw...
