I have a sblive 5.1 but this 8 meg soundfont
isn't on the cd .
Can someone help me with this soundfont?

the reviewers said it's not the sf from creative

Download "E-Control" - WITH 8Mb E-MU GM soundfont bank

Start Install, when files are prepared, look in your TEMP area for the Soundfont (.sf2)
Copy it somewhere, and then cancel the install.

Now you can install the 8Mb soundfont using AudioHQ, or one of the alternative tools from one of the SB Live fansites.

Out of curiosity why do you need such a crappy little soundfont ?

ps. The original file's name is 8mbgmsfx.sf2 on my hdd.

Ct8mgm.sf2 is the name of the file I want and
it seems Audigy owners have it.The 8 meg from EMU
sounds like the Ct4mgm.sf2 (4 meg) from Creative
so I really want it to be made by Creative
I like the 4 meg a lot beacause it is made of tiny
1 ms clips and if all the sf were made like that...

Maybe he wants to extract single cycle waveforms and use them in a synth or something...

For me this 8MB soundfont sounds awful (not realistic enough).
