RAW; my site is down because I was hosting it on my own box. It uses PHP/MySQL and I'm too lazy to move it elsewhere.

My email is grymmz0r@yahoo.com, though. ;)

I need to fix the MIX pot to have real switch between normal, hard-sync, and FM, for some reason in my notes it's a pot. it should be a 3way switch. or maybe just update the labels to have those and make it 3 frame pot. click/drag to snap in place.

hrm.

thanks all.

That is looking superb, i can't wait til it's finished.

I've never tried Oatmeal but, hey grymmjack, I like
where you're going with this one, nice colours and all.
Got to try this plug once you finish the GUI.

Btw.
"Grym" is also a swedish slang for "f@cking awsome"
The proper meaning of the word is "cruel" but
that clearly has no relevance here.

So salute to you "f@cking awsome"-jack. :hihi:

i like the brown version. but would it be possible to have the palette changeable with some kind of preferences file (it seems to have about 8 colours). If they are vectors i guess this would be possible, but if they are bitmaps then i guess not

Very nice skin you have there. :D I can't wait for it, because I just found out about Oatmeal, downloaded it, and I'm staring at the GUI trying to get accustomed to it before knocking out some trance leads.

This will signal the end of an era for me. The download junkie days are definitively gone after this skin is done... for synths anyway  I still like to check out effects since even the same category effects can be so strikingly different... and unless something really unusual comes up. After Oatmeal is done, I'm cleaning house :box:

And what a great little Christmas special this will make, if it's done by then. Once again grymmjack: THANK YOU!!! :tu:

OH, that looks LOVELY. Dammit, I was just thinking about offering my design skills out to the folks at KVR again, after having that Bionic Reverb thing turning into vaporware on me (I had offered to do designs, and many approached me--I chose him). But now seeing something like yours, I should probably stick to my stupid paintings.

I hope it will draw the talented presets designers hanging around here to make some more banks for this fabulous and free piece of synth.

Can't wait for this to be finished. Looks lovely. Such warm colors.

thanks guys. nothing new yet, but with 4 day weekend coming for turkey day I promise to finish atleast the mockup part :) maybe I could finish her up by Sunday? I know I have more time uninteruppted on Friday, and Saturday day for sure :)

So probably enough to finish...

I admit I had some time last weekend but I just could not find the ambition to work on it to save my life. I did try, honestly, but I need to be in the right frame of mind for something as meticulous and time consuming as this project. :)

That's the hardest part about the hobby nature -- trying to muster up some ambition when the time is there to work on stuff..

I think if I didn't work on computers all day it would be much easier to geek hardcore at weeknights..

anyway, thanks and happy early Thanksgiving :) I will be giving thanks by finishing this as soon as I can and getting it out there.

I was going to ask if someone would do some nice bank organization for a FXB to distribute with this skin of existing presets organized and sorted out? It could be cool. The existing stuff that is around for oatmeal is so scattered to the wind it's difficult to really run it through it's paces being lazy :)

Post

also I got a very generous offer from a fellow KVR'er to get designermonkey website back online :)

more on this once it's done, i don't want to make a premature announcement.

i have some good ideas for the site and it's future including having some tutorials and tools and stuff to help others learn and assemble.

i'd like to start a reaktor section too but time will tell what happens.

Thanks for comments!
