Samples of boiling potatoes and pouring water

Five samples of boiling with various mic placements and one sample of water pouring. There were cut from a kitchen sampling session. There's a bunch of other cool sounds, but people are talking during most it. Although, the speaking stimulates creative usage.

They come out well Genetic - got a sense of space with these samples, the levels are ok and not clipped - I like the recording

You know Jeff, I'm not positive what was boiling. I remember recording this the same day I did the breaking glass. I also remember have mashed potatoes for dinner that night.
Thanks Spe3d. The recording was done with two nt1a into my audiobuddy preamp (that miraculously fixed itself after being broke for months) into the EMU 1616m. There was tons of low frequency in the original recording, I think mostly from the steam interacting with the mic. I ran the samples through a strong highpass of about 60hz and they seemed to come out OK.
