Whether it's the best is completely subjective but I like the Sonic Station sample library which has some very good pianos. They also have a library, I believe.
Are they the best? I don't know, but they sit well in mixes and are easy to tweak in Kontakt.

Yes, the 24-bit Bardstown "Bosendorfer Imperial Grand" for Kontakt is absolutely superb!
And so are the Bardstown "Classic Accordions" and "Vintage Jazz Guitars & Tenor Banjos" libraries.
And the support (from Kip) is among the best you will find anywhere.

Several days ago Alan Russell provided me with a jazz trio midi file of George Gershwin's "'S Wonderful" that he recorded with the Bardstown Bosendorfer. In addition to the Bardstown Bosendorfer Imperial Grand, Jim Roseberry's "Purrrfect Brushes" are also featured in this demo.
Enjoy!

Yeah, I have this and it is well worth the price.YouthSauce wrote:Anyone here use the Plugsound Drum/Percussion module? if so what are your thoughts
There are hundreds of drumkits (literally) and they are all top quality. You'll find loads of electronic and acoustic drumkits as well as a pretty full list of percussion sounds.
One thing I've said before that I like about the Plugsound module is that you have drum rolls in there too which roll until you let go of the key.
You can edit (e.g. filter, envelope etc.) each drum in a kit separately too (zone editing) which is nice (not all sounds modules/romplers allow this at present....SampleTank doesn't for instance).
Oh, another thing. Every individual drum from every kit (with or without velocity switching) can be loaded separately, so you don't have to load a whole kit if you don't want too.
Choke groups are all set up already which is nice (again...not all modules/romplers out have choke groups set up or allow you to set them yourself....SampleTank springs to mind again)
I would definitely recommend you buy this. Not only this, I would recommend you buy volumes 1 and 5 too (Keys and Synths). The plugsound series is brilliant as far as I'm concerned. And the UVI engine that it uses is very good. It seems to get a lot better with each update too and I suspect their are great things to come in future updates (which have been free up until now I believe). The customer support is excellent too
So...is that enough to answer your question?
If you wanna now anything else then just ask and I'll try and answer you.
