Hello,

I am a user of fantastic Rhino and looked around for some soundbanks but Jesus there are only 3!! banks around for THAT big synth:

DX7 recreations (well only standart...)
Electroloops (great)
and the 'on board' soundbank (great)

So I asked myself if all users of Rhino would give about 5 sounds each and we put them together to have one (or two) breathtaking soundbanks, we all could really enjoy it without having to much stress. I think there must be many users around. I would make a start and if you all are interested Big Tick might put them together on his page (I hope).

Good idea or not ?

Excellent idea I'll gladly centralize the presets on my web site...
We're working on more banks, but it takes a lot of time to design good quality presets. So initiatives like this one are always welcome....

This is my biggest concern in the choice of "z3ta+ or rhino" - the number of presets available. Right now, for a synth like either of these I'm more tweaker than sound designer... (heck, that's probably true for anything more complex than Synth1 or FreeAlpha). Admittedly I also find the z3ta+ interface easier to read, but that's a personal thing and may depend on my LCD monitors.

Odds are I'll probably get both sooner or later... with these two, who needs Absynth?

And one very nice feature, you can put your name in the notes so that when users like me call up the patch we know who made it.

Hi Guys,

I've been so busy lately but I try to peek in every chance I get.

I only had a chance to put about 17 patches together on a bank but I will send them to you right now.

Just did a TV thing about a couple of weeks back and got my check today

Almost a grand ! ! !

'Tick, you have some that I sent as well, I believe. Not sure how useful they are. Who's going to make the bank selections? It doesn't really matter, more patches to use or tweak are always fun.
