I'll do a patch for DirectWave scuzzphut and upload it a bit later, I'll post when it's ready :) (I have meaning to check that proggy out in full for a while, this is the perfect excuse I needed :) )

Cheers guys :D

nice one, Spe3d :D

Directwave will import Battery 1 and Kontakt1 samples (as well as SF2, Akai and EXS24) - so if it's easier , you could post the kit in one of those formats and I'll pass you back a Directwave native version.

Direct Wave is a pretty cool app scuzzphut :) I done a Direct Wave preset on this link :)

(for those browsing the thread you need the sample pack to make it work - see beginning of this thread for the link - its just the preset on its own in the above rar)

And this is a couple of other samples of a snare and sticks hit together plus a couple of crash sounds that can be added in or used in replacement for samples in the incykit - so this rar is an incy mini add on :)

Thanks for the add-ons. :) In answer to your previous query about what we would like more of: I like the un-mangled stuff you give out like the fishtank and the ice fizz samples.

Cool, thank you Genetic :) - I done a few more just like that (but shorter), I'll upload them a bit later today :) I was thinking doing some longer ambient spaces of places that might be interesting too :)

MotorBuzz 01 is really cool. I like the pitch variation and panning. How did you do GSpring1?

Post

Thank you Genetic :)

Ah! Gspring, that's an electric guitar plugged directly into a mixer, so it initially is a dry signal, then I rested an acrylic slide gently on the stings, strum the stings and move the slide to give the bend effect - pretty much anything smooth, acrylic, glass or metal can be used - the different materials change the warmth of the sound. In the past I used a beer bottle, and a metal pipe cut to short (the with of the fret board) - it's a pinky slider.

Best regards,

Peter

Ahh. Slide. I thought it was some kind of tremolo (vibrato) I didn't know about.

Thanks for the explanation.:)
