Miroslav tempo problem

I've noticed that the release envelopes don't really work well when dealing with tempo changes. When you speed up the tempo, the strings, for example, start overlapping. The notes don't release soon enough, it's like the notes stay the same length in the old tempo, but don't update.
Is there any way to fix this?

Here's an example:
http://www.gregjazz.com/upload/stringtemp.mp3
These are all half-note chords that have no overlap or gaps between them. See what happens when I speed up/slow down the tempo.
It does this even with the release envelope completely off. Sorry I didn't explain it very well in my first post.
This pretty much limits me from having any tempo variation in my compositions.
In case you're wondering, Miroslav is being played through Sonar 4. I have not had any of these tempo problems with any other VSTi/DXi.

Ah, I understand now. It's not the release time that's changing (or not changing). It's the length of the notes. For some reasons the notes are staying the same length (in time, not beats) when the tempo changes.
That's really odd. You're sure it's not happening with your other plugin instruments? It sounds to me like a strange track setting for the MIDI data. I don't know Sonar well enough to be more precise, sorry.
If you're sure it's only Miroslav Philharmonik, contact IK support via your user area on the IK website.
You might also want to ask on the Sonar forums. I've heard they're really helpful over there, and they might know an option in Sonar that might fix it.

I messed around some more, and I'm certain I don't get that problem with any other VSTis.
Apparently someone's already posted about this problem:

I contacted the tech support just now. Hopefully they'll have some suggestions.

I sent tech support an email, and then following their request, I sent them an MP3 example along with a Sonar project file. Haven't heard from 'em since.

Seems very strange to me. I don't use Sonar but I've never had that problem or even heard of it. I would talk to Cakewalk support as well.

I used to use Sonar 4 as well (switched over to SX3 instead though).
Anyway, I experianced the same problem as you do, and it was solved by not using the DXi-plugin version of Philharmonik, but instead I used the VST-adapter in Sonar and converted the VSTi-version of Philharmonik so I could use it with Sonar... Problem was gone...
Don't know if this helps, but it may be worth a shot!
Cheers!
