I am looking for a professional library of drum and percussion sounds that would be suitable for a ambient, New Age, Chill-out, Soundtrack kinda project.

I do have the Stormdrum Library by EastWest which is perfect for big and loud sound. Now I am looking for subtle things, maybe mostly electronic, bordering at abstract noises that would be good to design gentle rhythm patterns that are not 'in your face'...

Oh and BTW - I do not want to use pre-made loops.

This is the sort of thing I designed Ambient Drums for. Check it out:

Lots of different, eclectic stuff in there and the price is right :)

Thanks you!
This is indeed what I was looking for.
20 Bucks - A no-brainer.

Not sure that it's what you're looking for but you may want to check my Sidekick Electronic Percussion set:

It's a pretty varied set.

Well, Jeremy's was exactly what I was looking for. What made it even more so to become my choice was the fact that it was offered in Kontakt format, a sampler which I use a lot. The sets are offered dry and wet which makes it easy to just start and go without a lot of experimenting (Sorry, I am lazy...). They actually proved to be very useful and contain good sounds as far as I could find out in a brief time trying out the instrument sets. Thanks!

If there is any input on improvement, it would be that I could imagine some of the sets having more additional little higher pitched noises to resemble Hi-hats, shakers or those little things that can play in a continuous form for some time without being tiring for the ear. But it is already great as it is.
