The real reason is that there is so much going on here. It would slay your average email client to try and keep up the forums when they are firing on all cylinders.

It's not exactly true that there are no dupes. The way it works is any edit made and then saved with the original patch name on the ESQ is treated as a version... so there can still be 4 "Air" patches. Although not renamed v1-v4 that's what they are. It starts out with 4 or 5 versions of blank... It's not my fault.

Reaktor 5 , Kubik , Dimension Pro , Wusik V1 , FabFilter CM edition and Reason 3 all work fine though + Ugo's Motion , Texture and Rez (which is all i use BTW).

Ok I hae tried both metohods / manual & installer witht the proper subdirectory folders and checked the registry key is there etc also.
Edit buttons etc working now.
Midi is going to the VST but I get zero audio output.

Am I the ONLY PERSON having this isuue or something ?
Would have liked to know if anybody else was having a similar issues or problem myself.
I so wanted this to work as I used to own an SQ80 back in the day .
It is like absolute torture here not being able to work with this VSTi .

I'm afraid all I can do is cry some on your behalf. This VSTi went in as painlessly for me as any VSTi ever has.

You're missing a great synth, obviously. I suggest a brand spanking new computer for Christmas.

I don't even bother firing up vsts in Live because it never seems to work. Crash city it always seems. Though I'm only on Live 4x at the moment. I understand the newer versions are a lot better.

But that doesn't help your situation.

Are you sure everything is being routed correctly? I know that sounds like a stupid question... but how many times DOES it wind up being something silly like that? I would say... is there another host that you could try it in to test the installation? Is there a free host here that you could download to be able to at least play around with this excellent plugin?

Also... I was experiencing the disappearing keyboard thing too. Keyboard seemed to not function after firing up the SQ plugin. At first I thought it was a Cubase crash, but having read that others were experiencing the same problem... I hope that this is something that will be addressed in a future update. Certainly in the full-priced one, I would hope.

Grab the energyXT and/or Chainer Demo(s). You don't have to buy either one to use it as a host. They both work stand alone with SQ8L and both can be loaded as VSTs into Live. If neither one works you've probably got other problems.

SQ80 emulating VSTi available
