SQ80 emulating VSTi available

It's working here with Live 5.2 and 6.0.1 demo versions on my windows test machine. Of course what i would really like is to have it on my mac G5. Any chance of this happening Sigfried/ Rainer?

Here it is all cleaned up. 21 banks of 120 patches and 1 bank of 38 just 'cause it was the easiest way to do it. Total of 2558 patches.

It's not exactly true that there are no dupes. The way it works is any edit made and then saved with the original patch name on the ESQ is treated as a version... so there can still be 4 "Air" patches. Although not renamed v1-v4 that's what they are. It starts out with 4 or 5 versions of blank... It's not my fault.

Thanks to 1-2-Many's tip, this was a breeze to organize... You saved me many mouse chicks and I thank you and good-night

It is like absolute torture here not being able to work with this VSTi .

Same here, can't get it to run within dssi-vst to make it work under Linux; GUI's there (although some minor glitches occur, which I blame WINE for), can be controlled, but just no sound.

(And yes, jackd is running and routed to the correct soundcard, dssi is plugged into jack. All native DSSI plugins are working nicely.)

If anyone has an idea, I'm all ears.

Tried the EnergyXT VSTi demo .
Once again ALL my VSTi's work Reaktor 5 , Kubik 2 , Wusik 1 , Dimension Pro , PlugsoundFree , SoloString and Ugo's Motion , Texture and String Theory.
SQ8L - interface now works 100% , banks load fine and still no Audio output .

I tried it on the laptop because I've got several audio options there. The SQ8L didn't work with any host, using the internal sound card and asio4all. This is the most basic setup I can get and it didn't work. Just like you say everything else works fine but no sound from the SQ8L. I'll try some other devices and report back.

I've got one more but that's one of each and it's starting to look like I won't be running this on my laptop... I'm bummed!

I just checked it out on my laptop (Dell Latitude d505) with the onboard soundcard and using asio4all in FL Studio.

Been playing with it for days -- brings back some sweet memories.

2* Firewire external audio drives ( Lacie 160 and Glyph 200 )
UC33 * MK245C USB controller + keyboard
Soundcraft Compact 4 Mixer
Behringer Truth Monitors + Alesis Point 7'a w/ Luxman Power amp.
This is the only VSTi I have that causes issues of any kind what so ever.

The audio wasn't working here either, till I did the config suggested in the readme file (even though I used the setup program).

3. Run "regedit.exe" and find the entry:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SQ8L".
It should contain the variables "path_data", "path_dll",
"path_user" which all are set to "c:\".
Now change those paths according to where you copied the files before.

Maybe give that a shot? Working beautifully here now
