I would be very grateful for some sexy or spiritually female vocals, spoken word reading something poetic, yes please!

also I would want to record them while they are distracted by something interesting, like some little plastic gooey monsters you buy in the kinds of shops with holograms and Mercury and also tickling them on the floor until they giggle a lot-that would be funky

- the sound of girlie hair in summer, when it's hot and a warm breeze makes skirts playful
- the sound of a girl's smile
- the sound of laughing wrinkles
- the sound a girl makes when she does that nose nudging girls do and men don't
- the sound of air molecules silently rejoycing as they whirl round a girls' body
- the sound of female warmth and elegance

Unlike the majority of the posters, I don't see that much use for tonal material. It's unlikely that in the end the quality would be high enough for serious usage.
IMO the most useful approach would be to take her particular voice as the starting point, and produce utterances and all kinds of noises where a bit of the uniqueness of her voice/accent would be captured.
Personally I'd love to get a sample set of vocal and throat noises, lip and tongue smack & pops, samples of all kinds of creative usage of the mouth. A "vocal FX" kind of thing. If I'd use singing/pitch material in a piece, I'd just hook up with a real singer for any decent results.

This is beautiful and moronic at the same time.cptgone wrote:- the sound of girlie hair in summer, when it's hot and a warm breeze makes skirts playful

Seriously though, from the gazzillion female vocal samples that I've heard utterances and phrases rarely work and always seem to sound cheesy. It's the spontaneous recordings (eg. laughter, conversation) that seem to be the most useable and useful. Just my opinion.

It would be wonderful to have some sow, wordless operatic phrases.
Kind of what Montserrat Caballe was doing in Vangelis' album "El Greco".
I know, I takes a well trained singer with lots of volume in her voice...
But it would be such a great thing to have something like this.
"Diva" of Bela D does not deliver that unfortunately.

I would be nice to have similar material like Bela D Media's Diva (which I own). The problem with Diva is that the women sound very mature. I prefer more girly type voice--more youthful and angelic (like a teenage girl).

I'm all for the idea of poetry/spoken word samples. I've been wanting a decent collection of spoken female samples, but most of what is available sucks bad. Spoken, almost whispery phrases of things that sound emotionally 'deep'...and these would be useful for so many different genres of music, from dance/trance to avant garde/experimental.

I'd love to know how this is coming along?
I was after some good Oohs & Aahs a few weeks back, so this would be great if they're ready.
Again it would be 2-3 octives worth of each.
Maybe a few that sound more 'who' than ooh or even the whole vowel range would be good too.

I think it would really be great just to have some nice, clean, single note samples, at various natural volume levels, with the whole gamut of sustainable vowel sounds, over the whole soprano/alto range.
