can manytone be used for such tracks, to sound close to live bass ?
like the soulfuric, Richard Earnshaw type tracks ?

along these lines..

Sorry for the delay in replying...

Although i can't whip up an mp3 for you, I tried quickly to imitate the basic sound examples you gave using our Ultimate Bass Kit. I got pretty close to the tone with a quick test. I am sure with all the basses we have available, you will be able to get that sound and style. I will say though with any midi work, it takes a bit of knowledge and experience to pull out the little tweaks that make the sound and style work smoothly.

I would think either our Ultimate Bass kit or ManyStation or ManyGuitar with the right tweaks could accomplish this.

Any other ManyTone users do this style or care to comment?

oh yeah that is very cool sounds very close to live bass, with some amp sim that can sound amazing, i was very very impressed with that mp3 as it stands !!

was that quite easy to play via midi ?? as i could seriously write a track around just that bassline !!!

so i would need a manytone synth first then the UBK on top ??

thanks leigh

hey very nice ,love the drums on this very afro beat, latin feel did you prgramme them yourself ??
bass is very warm, what did you use ??

very jazzy i think with some vocals this could definatly get a release,

really like this is the kind of thing i play myself !!!

Yes programmed the drums myself from a live recording session then sampled and looped. The bass was played live 1st then I decided to redo with a bass library in Melodyne then I used Sonalksis CQ1 on it to squash and bring warm it up a bit.. This song really started from a simple chord progression then layered up.. Still got a bit of work to do on it.. I have a vocalist in mind for the recording but have to find out her avalibility..

ManyTone is killer when it comes to making live sounding bass tho.

yeah really into that track, definatly got alot of potential,

i tell ya you lot are really sellin this thing to me

the mp3 sample was great sounds better than trilogy to me,
is it quick and easy to programme ??

Well IMO it can take some getting use to. It really depends on how much time you spend learning how to use it. One thing about Melodyne is the strange gui. You either love it or hate it..

BTW thanks alot..
