I did some samples a while back, don't know which disk they are on atm, but, have been thinking of re-doing them - It would make a good second instrument project to go into the auditorium sample section ( http://www.the-auditoriums.net/auditori ... y.php?f=52 ) - along with the Violin (except I wont abuse my ukulele
)
I'll most likely get a small set done this weekend and add to it in stages, keep an eye on that
Best regards,

Hmm... maybe I should sample my 'uke. So far all I've sampled from it is percussive stuff. It's a very special ukulele...
You can hear the 'uke and the percussive stuff here. It was just a quick recording to test an idea. Man, do I have a tendency to play ahead of the beat.

Ummmm...a ukelele isn't that expensive or hard to play. Why not just use the real thing?
This isn't for a remake of "Tip-Toe Through The Tulips", is it? "Tiny Tim Goes Clubbin'"?

Given the interest in the thread (including the interest from the original poster of the thread)
I would say Ukulele samples are not exactly in high demand
(a phrase like 'lead balloon' comes to mind)

I just got Acoustic Legends HD from a new company called Vir2 Instruments. It isn't focused on ukelele but it has a few ukelele patches. For ukelele it has major and minor chords (up and down strokes) and single notes. The main focus is on more mainstreem acoustic guitars like steel string and nylon string (there's a ton of those) It is a plug in though so no SoundFont stuff. It's at www.vir2.com or I think you can also get it on Big Fish's website bigfishaudio.com
