Hi,
I recently bought a liquid grooves CD Rom, not knowing it is in kurzweil format. However, the seller said that it could be converted in Kontakt 2 and Stylus RMX, I tried doing that but I just couldn't get it to work. The seller didn't reply my emails to explain how he did it. So my question is...how do I get the samples out from this CD Rom? I have Komplete 3, logic pro, rmx. tell me which works! thankss!

The Awave sample converter software does a couple of kurzweil formats, according to their web site. Might want to check it out:felixphang wrote:Hi,

Kontakt2 converts Kurzweil just fine, the explanation is in the manual.felixphang wrote:I recently bought a liquid grooves CD Rom, not knowing it is in kurzweil format. 1) Insert your Kurzweil CD
2) Wait until it spins up
3) Launch Kontakt2
4) You'll see the CD near the bottom in the Browser, marked "Kurzweil CD"
5) Open it up from there, and find a .krz file (or .k25) that you are interested in
6) Drag it onto the rack, it should convert it fine.
I just tried a couple, works great.
If you want to convert the whole CD in one shot, just select the CD on the top, hit Import, put in your desired Program and Sample folders, and hit IMPORT on the top row. Go out, eat a sandwich, and it'll be done.
As far as Stylus goes, I'm not sure if the RMX Convertor works with Kurzweil, just Akai and Roland. Try it, though, and check the manual.
