Livetweaker is a new vst instrument, made by Odo and Sink, gathering in a single plugin one 12 slots drumsampler, one drumsynth, and a monophonic synth. A reverb unit is also included.
Conceived with live use in mind, the idea is to have 3 instruments on one single track for quick & easy tweaking using a midi controller.
The second idea is to avoid sterile repetition of the same thing in including various random features.
So, you can reach subtles variations on a snare's pitch, a cymbal's decay, or simulate the osc pitch instability of an old analogue synth, but you can also turn your pattern into something totally different after each repetition.
Livetweaker aims at keeping things both simple, quick & easy to use, all along with deep user customizable features for more sonic control.
It comes with 2 skins and a huge library of 1200 samples (more than 400 have been recorded by Sink from vintage hardware drumachines and synths through tube comp, spring reverb, lofi samplers and filterbanks. Odo has also recorded more than 100 sounds from the C64, because we never have enough of 8bit !).
It is released as donationware, which means you can use it without restrictions, but if you like it and use it, you can donate (even a small amount) to Odo and Sink, to keep them buying programming software and gear to sample !

Hi.
Here are some short snippets made with a new forthcoming plugin.
All these mp3 are made using only one single pattern, and real-time tweaking of one single VSTI.
The only third-party stuff used here is an output limiter, and no editing were made to the files (recorded live from the host's output).
