does it hurt your guitars to leave them hanging on hooks like that? that'd be nice way to do it. i hate those stupid stands. they always fall over or scratch my axes. and i'm so lazy that i hate opening up the case to get them out.
are those hooks using any mollies or anchors behind them? what kind of materials are the walls made from? i got a nice blank wall behind me aching for some axage.

Not having them on the wall like that would probbaly hurt them more... The hangers swivel, so even the P-bass which has a very uneven head hangs nicely. And the foam doesn't hurt the finish, as far as I can tell.
I had them haning on the other wall before, and the bass fell down! The wall they're on now is wood and the screws are big-ass screws!
I have no problem recommending this. It saves space, saves tripping over them, looks good on the wall, and it keeps them out of reach of the kids as well.
btw, I've got the monitors on wall mounts now as well. Looks and sounds much better.

took this one recently which i *really* like. In fact it's one of the only photos i've taken of my synth that i'm really happy with. Anyway I have this shot featured on my website as well but for anyone that hasn't seen it, i think it's worth a look because it's just a cool shot
btw, the oscilloscope is actually in the middle of spelling out the word "Muff" as you can plainly see. I came up with a great patch using a modulated serge waveshaper that actually draws the word "muff" on the 'scope

for a bigger version, look here
(btw just kidding about the scope. it sort of looks like it though!)

Damn, I was just thinking to myself that the "F wave" would be all the rage in VA this yearMuff Wiggler wrote:took this one recently which i *really* like. Freakin hell. This is a great minimalistic studio. Love it. An ipod with 4 speakers, a computer keyboard with no screen and a mic.Vocalvoodoo wrote:Here's a pic of my little home VO studio.

That's a great pic. That modular is looking awesome! I still need to get my studio arranged...it's been a shambles since we moved in August. I hope to get it finished next week...Muff Wiggler wrote:took this one recently which i *really* like. In fact it's one of the only photos i've taken of my synth that i'm really happy with. The screen is actually to the left in the picture, between the wood rack and my left monitor. Having it between the monitors, actually 6 inches in front and between them, was giving me a weird frequency bump in the mids so I moved it to the side. I would have taken a picture that included the rack and computer monitor, but the contents of my rack surely ain't nothin' to write home about.

I think you missed the LCD screen. It is on the left, on the desk.Sepheritoh wrote:Freakin hell. This is a great minimalistic studio. Love it. An ipod with 4 speakers, a computer keyboard with no screen and a mic.Vocalvoodoo wrote:Here's a pic of my little home VO studio.
Cool!!!!!
I am not seeing an iPOD though. AFAIK, this the module to control the speakers.
