I happen to love that font
In fact I use it on subtitles when I watch foreign films on my PC. I'm a big fan of Asian cinema. It looks awesome! I don't like it on paper though, and for Oatmeal, I think the original font was a little better for boldness as well.
Nice news on the skin BTW!! If it works when it's done, then...

ok skinning midi page, then animating.
the animation wont be difficult at all. i use some tools for rotation and stacking the images up or next to each other. so the hardest part of animating is setting up a separate file just so. for the sliders, i use imageready and tweens, nothing difficult about that at all.
the hardest part i think will be understanding the ini and getting my head around that part of it. i've done a few skins for apps that used monolithic bitmaps before (audiosliders, winamp3.x, and coolplayer) but not anything recently.
wish me luck
will post a shot once i complete the midi page.
also midi page will cover xy, eq, and master (and so will edit).

I can back djsubject up on this one, My wife has worked in a number of Special Neeeds schools and Comic sans is pretty much compulsory, the other being Sassoon infant. There is also a dotted version for writing help.grymmjack wrote:djsubs; for real? you aren't just pulling legs? what makes it easier if you are dyslexic? the way it connects together in reverse?

I recall it has something to do with not having straight, symmetric lines in adjacent letters, compare IIIIIIIIIII and IGVXOS for a dramatic example of dissimilarity
Letters are just easier to to tell apart when their vertical lines are not so perfectly aligned.
