Yes & hi Stone, that looks really nice!
My old keyboard was taken away yesterday, and I'm now waiting for an Axiom to ship so the setup is _very_ minimalistic, just a Vaio and the Fast Track Pro!
cheers,
Jon

extreme studio make-over for me over the last month...I'm finally finishing things up. I need to make some supports for the shelf and the broken hutch is going to be transformed into a semi quiet box. I bought a 10" fender speaker and I'm going to build it into the lower section, foam the hell out of the inside and mic it with my 57 so I can better record my tube amps.
New features in my make-over besides a new desk and work area is the biggie...
Dual Processor Desktop
CPU: Intel Core2 Duo E6700 2.66GHz
Motherboard: ASUS Core2 Duo Motherboard
Memory: 2GB DDR2-800 : 2x1GB (expandable to 8GB)
VGA card: ATI Radeon X300SE 128MB DVI/VGA
Optical Drive 1: NEC 16x Dual Layer DVD Burner
Primary Hard Drive: 160GB SATA II
Audio Hard Drive: 500GB SATA II
Samsung 225BW 22" monitor
Emu 1820m soundcard.

the lower shelf is actually a drawer so I can tidy things up when I'm not working.

from the front

the laptop has it's own card, 200 gig external drive as well...the two computers are connected by digital audio only and both have digital audio to my home stereo and analog to my monitors. Needless to say I'm quite happy, the other was so messy for so many years. Much of my rack gear is under my bed now.
PC Audiolabs built the computer, I'm amazed by the size, it's also silent. Getting to know dual core performance is exciting to say the least. It has a three speed fan (+ auto) as well for good cooling, it's not internet connected of course...
perhaps one final look of the old

it served me well

In the corner my Roland Cube 100 bass amp. Obviously my PC is setup around the desk, tannoy speakers, sp101 amplifier to power said speakers. On top of that, my soundcard and my Behringer Ultra-DI box. Oxygen 8, which I mainly use for triggering samples and things.

You can see a few pedals on the floor. Digitech Hothead in orange, and the ProCo RAT2 in black, amongst tons of books and cables. My HIWATT combo amp, which I love.
Obviously I am a very messy person

same reason I use'em... except I also like the advantage of having the trackball on my knee instead of a tabletop.Stone wrote:hehe, thanks for the sentiments on the logitech trackballs.

Awesome! I love it!
You just reminded me that my back is sore from a lack of lower lumbar support. I need to fix that.
