The EQ has been subjected to a variety if changes, so I ask for your forgiveness if I'm forgetting any of them.

I wouldn't any longer class this purely as an EQ, but it still is one. It's just that it's also turned into a mad multi-stage distortion unit. I would really appreciate if some guitarist would try it out on electric guitars, I myself prefer using feedback mode 2 and various amounts of saturation, but I don't have a guitar to try it out on :)

Here's what it currently look like:

Changes and fixes:
- bigger GUI
- saturation indicators on each band
- two feedback modes, handle with care! self-oscillation often occur!
- parameter smoothing (should get rid of those strange artefacts some of you where getting when tweaking knobs)
- input/output gain, to keep saturated and/or heavy boosted sounds under control

Let me know of any issues or suggestions you might have. And sorry for still not providing numerical input for the EQ controls!

Here's the DLL
What a nice looking GUI, thank you for this.

Why thank you :)
Any opinions on the features etc?

Hey, nice to see these are still coming along! This really is a good-sounding EQ - is it made from normal Synthmaker modules are or is there something "special" about them?

This new incarnation sounds really good on drumloops. I'm trying it out now on a dirty old 70's loop and it adds a lot of punch and clarity. The presets are good, you should name them. :D

Is the compressor finished? I think 011a was the last version I had. That's a good one for drums too.

Both of these are really very nice!

Thank you so much for developing them. I've been working on a mix that had a somewhat boring rhythm guitar part, and the insane behavior of your compressor suggested a completely different emphasis on the parts -- so now I'm restructuring the mix to fit, as it's much better!

Lots of life in these tools! Thanks again!

Cheers.

Even without the saturation and feedback, this is a nice and quick EQ [easy to use and setup], but the saturation and feedback gives it that uniqueness factor. Very usable in my book, Industrial electronic one. I'm always in need of saturation/distortion/feedback.

Older versions were unstable a bit, and the GUI was glitchy, but this one seems much better so far.

Can't wait to see what you've done to that uniqueness factor compressor, too :hihi:.

Cheers!

Sorry, was a bit of a rush when I replied last time so I didn't take the time to answer this.

It's standard components, but a fair bit of new made or altered modules. The saturation stages (all in all 8 of them active if using feedback mode 2!) for instance are custom. And the toolbox EQ hasn't got all the different modes at the moment, but we'll migrate them over when this EQ feels "totally finished".

It sure can make some screamy stompy "power" drums out of ordinary electronic stuff, can't it? :) That was one of the main things I did with it while developing the saturation and feedback stages. Try setting it up in a totally "destroy into a stompy distorted loop" way, and use a highpass for the first band and try automating that band :)

No-one tried it out on a clean guitar sound yet? I'd very much be interested in what it could do there.

I'll try it out on my guitar tonight. I meant to last night, but it was getting late and I was totally engrossed in "Entourage" reruns.

I was just curious about the EQ modules because the EQ sounds quite smooth. Well done.

I like your thinking Stefan :hihi:, yep, drums are coming out nice with this EQ.

Thanks a bunch!

Your CPU supports SSE? If you don't know, what CPU do you have?
If it's something else it's something we need to look in to!

bduffy: that's a really great show, been following it myself!

Home from work, I've had a chance to try the plugins. The EQ froze Phrazor soon after starting the plugin, eXT froze before the plugin would open.
