do you have any info on when IK might release a UB update for STLE. I'd love to be able to use the trons collection on my mac pro.

Not sure if there will be one! Sorry. I haven't heard anything. I recommend upgrading to the full engine though anyway for UB and also standalone plus access to all of the effects, editing, import etc. Plus if you upgrade right now you get a free T-Racks 24 because of the promo as well ($299 MSRP normally). unless you guys have a couple hundred dollars laying around that you'd like to give me - then I'd be happy to upgrade

Well, that's up to you. You must have bought a new Mac! But, anyway the problem is that SampleTank 2 LE is lower on the list of products to be updated to UB and I am not sure if it is going to continue to exist or not since the Expansion Tanks and Sonik Capsules are being blown out for less than half price. It may go away in which case there won't be an update. I say 'may' though but... anyway, if you want UB then for sure upgrading is the best route and it is worth it especially that much more right now.

I'll probably just wait and purchase the Refill cross-grade
And the new Mac is exactly why I don't have much spare cash around
And I'm lucky I got that - my wife would be happy with any shitbox as long as it ran MS Word.
