These samples are the best free samples i've tried yet!
The trombone and the cello really blew me away!
Thank you very very much!

ok, a question...
We have a soundbank for Reason with the programs that contain all erans samples ! The problem is that the zip file is big and i mean real big -> 1,67 GB !!
Now before we put this one on our server, i would like to know how many people would be interested in this, this going to be a LONG download if you see what I mean...

Yes this could be done with some assistance and testing, I don't have Reason so I can't test this.
I'll do one instrument and somebody with reason will have to test this
ok ?

Well, inside the compressed file there are folders, each folder is one instrument and I know they work in reason. If you could seperate the folders and make each folder a download there would be no problem I think/hope.

Yes correct I tested this
Now i've done some tests with the first one 'Banjo La Jones'.
One of the best I've ever heard by the way, and 6 layers !!!
Now I'm asking, to make this available to as much people as possible (incuding me :) wouldn't it be a better idea to publish those as soundfonts ? Everybody can read a soundfont file, and I can without any problem convert this to soundfont with awavestudio.
Any toughts ?

I can't do that by myself so if you can, pease do that, it would be great! If you have the time for it, BUT the thing is that a lot of the samples are using the combinator in reason because stereosamples are leftchannel samples close mic, rigthchannel far(or a little further) and the line mixer inside reason mix between these. I think you can create this in your sampler, whatever you use but I dont know how if it will work in a standard sf2 sampleplayer. If people are using reason they will have to open the soundfont and then send left/right channel to mix between them. Everobody else have to do that but the connection is already made in my patches. maybe you should keep the combinator(.cmb) patches and people can open the sf2:s in the nn-xt that is in the combinator. Dont know. Anyone?

There was one file yesterday that didn't work properly, a 'flute sus' (have to look for the complete file name later on the other puter)... Reason couldn't find a bunch of wavs.erans wrote:Well, inside the compressed file there are folders, each folder is one instrument and I know they work in reason. I'd love to try these (they look awesome, thanks for sharing erans!)...and as I don't have reason my vote has to be on sfz.

As long as the .CMB/.SXT files are kept available I don't really mind how the samples are packaged. A refill with all content, patches and samples, would be convenient for myself. But I don't mind if they come packaged as WAV's in ZIP, as they do right now.
I don't really see the point of SFZ, wouldn't it be more accessible with WAV's in folders and separate patch files?
Anyways, anything goes.
Big thank you to Erans for this. Going to give em a go tomorrow. Downloaded the first batch of them. I'll get to the task of rapidshare tomorrow.
By the way, in the future you could try http://www.fileho.com , they don't seem to apply waiting time or size restrictions since I've seen files over 250mb in their listing.
