Hey guys, just thought I d ask you for advice. I am a beginner.intermediate guitar player and I like to create myself backing tacks off guitar pro midis. For the purpose I use FL studio and soundfonts.
Could you tell me the best drum kits out there. I have the ns_free kit but i tnk it is pretty crappy. The drumming is just so weak, the kick is not thee, some parts are barely audible. Have tried uberheavy compression etc... still weak drums. Also the hats or chinelles whatever is called are disgustingly reverbarated.
Any help and suggestions would be appreciated.

Tons of stuff available out there; you need to look around for what works for YOU. The "sound" of drummers is as individual as the sound of any other guitar or instrument player.
Here's some good acoustic samples that'll work in FL or any sampler: http://www.kondratko.com/TomHicks/tom_h ... mples.html
Also tons of soundfont sets over at www.hammersound.net

I am not after acoustic drums. I am into music like Nirvana. So for example I want to make a backing track for rape me or heart-shaped box.. I have downloaded all non acoustic drums off hammersound. All of the mare missing notes -- and Nirvana drumming is not so complicated.. Off hammersound - slavo's drum sf2 is best but he reverbarated it sooo much that it is useless.kara wrote:On of the best free drumsamples are those created by yPPse
