Don't know if I got a bad download or what, but if I can't fix it, it will have to go!
Anyone got any ideas as to what is wrong?
Simple question: are there any waves listed in the osc. section, left of the greenish up/dn arrows?

if not, then You might try this first: hit SF Load (top blueish button right), use SF Load for Osc.1 and look for the HGF-ROM1.SF2 via the fileselector on Your harddisk and load it. Repeat for the remaining oscs., then switch to next patch and play. tell us the result.

This thing is awesome. It's much more than an upgrade to STS-24...it's a whole new instrument. The GUI is great, the sound is crystal clear, and the new rhythm loops are really the icing on the cake.

I really think that this could easily replace Absynth in a lot of setups (like mine).

Great work HGF! Congratulations.

It's up now!

OK, I just got the Big3. Thanks H.G. for making that available. :)

Note that the web site still shows -24 in the bundle, and that Share-it sometimes calls it STS-21. :?

HG: Yes all the Wav's are there and I can change them!
But makes no difference to the sound. except that pressing just One key takes 12 to 14% cpu.
It is not a setting in Orion, as every other vst instrument works perfectly, including Protoplasm TSMPro.

Athlon 3200, 1 gig ram.

Very strange.

Here STS26 sounds ok in OrionPlatinum 7.1, only at high volume.

May I help you?

HGF-
I have been trying to fiddle with the groove loops to get them to sync to host, and I can't seem to find the control for this. The manual refers to the various FX sync, but not the loops. Could you (or anyone else lucky enough to be playing with this right now) point me in the right direction please?

thanks

Re-scanned all instruments and still have the feedback problem?
Will take it directly to HG via E-Mail from now on, so as not to spoil this thread!

mahtazz: Check your PPQ setting in Options/Timebase please. Is it set to 96 PPQ? Mine was set to 384 PPQ, so I reset it to 96 PPQ and now everything works perfectly!

That's it! ;)
